A Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluation is required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for individuals who have:
A positive drug or alcohol test
Refused a test
Violated DOT drug & alcohol regulations
As a DOT-qualified SAP, I guide employees through the Return-to-Duty (RTD) process from the initial assessment through completion ensuring safety, compliance, and clear communication.
